February 9, 2018 -- Nicole Curtis, the star of HGTV/DIY's popular "Rehab Addict," will be the keynote speaker at our 8th Annual Frankenmuth Community Foundation Legacy Ball.

Jan. 24, 2018 --The Frankenmuth Community Foundation welcomed three well-known volunteers to its Board of Governors this week. 

“Brandon Muller, Bonnie VanVoorhees and Tom Zuellig may come from different backgrounds, but they’re united in their love of Frankenmuth and their willingness to direct the Foundation as a force for good in the community,” said Chairman Terry Weiss.

The trio fills vacancies created by retiring board members Nancy Haskin and Tim Hildner, who each served a maximum of three terms totaling nine years, as well as Jonathan Webb, who stepped down from his board seat to accept a new role Jan. 1 as the Foundation’s executive director.

Dec. 27, 2017 – Steve List – the “Face of the Frankenmuth Community Foundation” – is retiring Dec. 31 from his role as executive director.

“I have enjoyed the last five years with the Foundation. The Frankenmuth community has been very supportive and I am very gratified to see its impact on the community,” List said.

Dec. 20, 2017 -- The Frankenmuth Community Foundation on Dec. 18 awarded a $200,000 grant for the construction of the Frankenmuth Jaycee Community Splash Pad, one of the largest allocations in the Foundation’s 40-year history.

“This exciting project will provide a free space for recreational water play for the Frankenmuth area community,” said Stephen C. List, executive director of the Frankenmuth Community Foundation.

Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are now available on every Buena Vista Fire Department emergency vehicle thanks, in part, to the Frankenmuth Community Foundation.

Frankenmuth knows a good cause – and a great evening’s entertainment – when it sees one.

Tickets are already sold out for the Frankenmuth Community Foundation Legacy Ball on May 6 featuring retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills as keynote speaker.
